PURPOSE: To provide a controller for an elevator guide rail aligning and fixing device which can automate the aligning and fixing works of a guide rail by the elevator guide rail aligning and fixing device.

CONSTITUTION: A controller for an elevator guide rail aligning and fixing device is provided with a mechanism controller 100 which controls the operation of an elevator guide rail aligning and fixing device 500 which has an aligning reference detector, a supervisory controller 200 which monitors the operation condition of the elevator guide rail aligning and fixing device 500 and the condition of a guide rail mounting section by a monitoring means, and a supervisory controller 200 which supervises and controls the mechanism controller 100 and the supervisory controller 200. Thus, automatic control of the elevator guide rail aligning and fixing device 500 becomes possible.
