Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for set resistances and a means dedicated to set resistance switching, by selecting light emitting elements for set value display through a changeover switch, and regarding a voltage drop across a light emitting element for set value display as a set value input to a control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a changeover switch SW is placed at a position OFF, a current flows to neither or resistances R8 and R9, so a transistor (TR) is turned off and a control circuit 1 does not operate. When the switch is placed at a position (1), a current flows through the resistances R8 and R9 and the 1st light emitting element L1 in order, and while the 1st light emitting element L1 turns on, the TR turns on to power up the control circuit 1. At the same time, a voltage drop across the light emitting element L1 is applied to the negative input terminal 2b of a comparator 2, and a driving means 3 is turned on and off with a relatively low set value to control the combustion of, for example, a boiler. Then when the changeover switch SW is switched to positions (2) and (3), the voltage VC inputted to the comparator 2 varies to 2Vf and 3Vf, and water is controlled to temperature higher than that when the switch is at the position (1).
