To provide a converter control device which can suppress the generation of an overcurrent of a DC-DC converter even if a change rate of an output voltage with respect to the output power or an output current of a fuel battery is large.
A detection part of a hybrid control part obtains the maximum change speed Vcmax of a converter command voltage, and compares it with a limit value (stable limit value) Vss of a stable voltage change speed per number of drive phases which is set in a memory (not shown in Fig.) or the like in advance (step S1). When the detection part determines that the maximum change speed Vcmax of the estimated converter command voltage is larger than the stable limit value of the corresponding number of phases (two phases, for example) (step S1;YES), the detection part prohibits the number of drive phases of the DC-DC converter 20 from being lowered to a prescribed value or below (step S2).
