Title:
D/A CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06152423
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a miniaturized and low-cost control circuit corresponding to the requested accuracy of control by switching resolution.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of performing control while narrowing down an analog voltage output range and improving analog voltage output accuracy near 0V, a switch circuit 2 is changed over by a switching signal P1. Then, an output voltage 101 of a voltage follower circuit 1 is outputted as an output 102. Since resistors R3 and R4 are made equivalent, the input voltage of the circuit 1 is turned to VREF/2. Therefore, 1/2, 1/3, 1/6 and 0V voltages of the VREF are respectively impressed to switches S0-S3. Namely, the analog outputs of VREF/2-0V are outputted from an output terminal OWT corresponding to digital values 107 and 108 inputted to input terminals IN0 and IN1. Namely, the analog output signal voltage range corresponding to a digital input is switched by the signal P1, D/A conversion is performed only to the voltage near a ground level, and the resolution of the D/A converter near the ground level is improved.
