Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of a DC/AC converter due to iron loss and the like by inserting a switching element to the supply circuit of a DC power source for generating a low frequency AC by a rectangular wave oscillator and supplying a DC pulse train of high frequency, thereby reducing the size of a transformer. CONSTITUTION:A transistor 5 is turned ON or OFF by a high frequency signal from a high frequency oscillator 10. A low frequency oscillator 7 is controlled for conduction of a silicon rectifier. Two sets 2B, 2D and 2A, 2D of silicon recrifiers are alternately conducted to generate and supply rectangular AC to a transformer 3. The rectangular wave-shaped AC is formed in positive and negative half wave of high frequency pulse train.
