PURPOSE: To realize free handling of an object of conveyance between certain positions by simple structure and improve the function of a conveyance device so as to be capable of complicated movement by providing an articulation structure in a rotary roller group conveying the object of conveyance.

CONSTITUTION: In case of rotating a rotary housing shelf 2, an articulation part R1 adjacent to said shelf 2 in a rotary roller group 8 is opened so as not to hamper rotation of said shelf 2, while the articulation part R1 is closed so as to realized condtion for easily inserting a cassette C. Further, at the time of elevating/lowering a conveyance device 7, its vertical movement can be made with both articulation parts R1, R2 kept opening so as to prevent rotary rollers 11a on both end parts from hitching on the cassette C or a video deck. Furthermore, in case of drawing the cassette C from a housing chamber 3, takeout, loading, housing and the like for the cassette C is performed through closing of the arti- culation part R1 of the rotary housing shelf 2 side and opening of the articulation part R2 of the video deck 5 side.
