The conveying device has the corrugation-imparting member 80 for imparting corrugation to the sheet S when the sheet S is delivered to a delivery part 16. The corrugation-imparting member 80 is rotatably on a rotation shaft 82. The rotation shaft 82 is rotatably supported on an arm member 84, and the arm member 84 is rockably supported on a rotation shaft 74. To the rotation shaft 74 and the rotation shaft 82, a gear 86 and a gear 88 engaged with each other are fixed respectively. A gear 90 engaged with the gear 88 is fixed to a rotation shaft 92. The gear 90 is constituted of, for example, a damper gear and has a rotation resistance means so as to apply force in a direction resistant to rotation of the gear 88.
