Title:
CONVEYING EQUIPMENT OF LOW-TEMPERATURE SOLID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3388561
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make conveyance of snow or fragmentary ice smooth on the occasion of long-distance transport thereof or in the case of existence of a height difference by a method wherein a part of a carrier air flow is made to escape from two-phase flow of low-temperature solids and air in the middle of a piping, the velocity of the carrier air flow running through the piping is increased and a static pressure inside the piping on the upstream side is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: Means B and C for reducing a static pressure on the upstream side which are constructed by connecting the outlet sides of absorbers 6B and 6C with the inlet sides of spuds 4B and 4C through the intermediary of air blowers 7B and 7C and air coolers 8B and 8C respectively are provided in a plurality of sets in the middle of pipings 10 and 11 with an appropriate distance set between them. The absorbers 6B and 6C put the outer peripheries of pipings 11A and 11B for conveying artificial snow under a pressure reduced relatively to the one inside these pipings in the middle to the outlet sides of the pipings 10 and 11 and suck a part of a carrier air flow from a two-phase flow of soilds and air inside the pipings 11A and 11B. The spuds 4B and 4C send out the air flow inside the piping 10 along the direction of conveyance, increase the velocity of the air flow inside the piping 10 and reduce the static pressure on the upstream side by an ejector effect.
