Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase refrigerating capacity by a method wherein oil for the compressor of low-temperature side refrigerating cycle is cooled by utilizing a heat pipe in order not to use condensed refrigerant.

CONSTITUTION: The heat absorbing section of a heat pipe 20 is dipped into the oil of a compressor 5 for low-temperature side refrigerating cycle. The heat radiating section 19 of the heat pipe 20 is constituted so as to be cooled by a cooling fan 21. According to this method, the oil cooling device of the compressor is simplified and an inconvenience that the design of the device is restricted as before since the compressors for both of the refrigerating cycles are connected mutually through oil cooling pipes may be eliminated. On the other hand, the circulating amount of refrigerant in the low-temperature side refrigerating cycle, required to realize an ultra-low temperature, will never be decreased, therefore, there is an effect to develope the refrigerating capacity to the limit thereof.
