To eliminate the influence of such a device as a humidifier which adversely affects an electrophotographic device only in the case where such device exists so as to reduce the malfunction of an image forming device by arranging two suction and exhaust fans so that their blowing paths may linearly communicate with each other.

The suction and exhaust fans 50a and 50b are respectively attached on both right and left sides of the scanner part 2 of the housing 1 of the electrophotographic device. The blades of the fans 50a and 50b can normally and reversely rotate and can be operated for both suction and exhaust. This switching operation is performed at the operating part of the electrophotographic device, for example. When the humidifier is set on the left side of the electrophotographic device, the fan 50a on a left side is operated as the one for exhaust, and the fan 50b on a right side is operated as the one for suction. Thus, the malfunction of the device and the deterioration of printing quality, etc., can be prevented without decreasing the cooling efficiency and making the device large.
