Abstract:
To surely prevent the finger, etc., of the user of a cooling fan device from being inserted into the fan case of the device and being injured and, at the same time, to suppress the volume of noise generated from the device to a low level.
This cooling face device is provided with a synthetic resin finger guard 5 constituted by protruding a plurality of spokes 3 which are stretched across the suction- or discharge-side opening of a fan case 2 housing rotors 1 from a rectangular frame section 4 so as to prevent the insertion of fingers, etc., into the fan case 2. The inner peripheral wall of the opening 6 of the frame section 4 is formed of a slope 7 which is inclined downward toward its front end.
