Abstract:
To provide a cooling method for induction hardening by which a steel member being apt to develop hardening crack is properly induction-hardened while avoiding the occurrence of the hardening crack.
When the steel member as a material to be treated is induction-hardened, the material to be treated is heated to hardening temperature by high frequency induction heating, then the material to be treated is high frequency induction-heated while cooled.
