Title:
COOLING STRUCTURE OF DIRECT-CURRENT MOTOR AND FRONT- AND REAR-SHEET-DRIVE VEHICLE USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3506648
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling capability for the direct-current motor of a front- and rear-wheel-drive vehicle, where either of front and rear wheels are driven by an engine and the other are driven by the direct-current motor.
SOLUTION: The holder plate in direct contact with a brush, that produces heat most in the direct-current motor for front- and rear-wheel drive vehicles is provided with fins. The fins are placed on the periphery of the direct-current motor, in such positions that the direction of the rotational shaft of the direct- current motor is parallel with the axles, so that wind hits at the fins, when the vehicle is being driven.
