Abstract:

To provide a cooling structure for an internal combustion engine by which the effect of cooling cylinders in the axial direction can be appropriately exhibited.

On the peripheries of a plurality of cylinders 6, a plurality of refrigerant passages 21-26 are provided separately from each other on the intake and exhaust sides of the cylinders 6. The refrigerant passages 21-26 are extended in the alignment direction on the peripheries of the cylinders 6 along the axial direction of the cylinders 6. The refrigerant flow-rate in the refrigerant passage 24 provided on the exhaust side, and nearest to the top dead center of a piston 7 is set higher than those of other refrigerant passages 21-23, 25, and 26.
