PURPOSE: To obtain a copier having a light weight and a small size with a low price and capable of performing the copying on the ordinary paper completely with a dry method, by giving an adhesive exposure to a latent image carrier composed of a continuous phtoconductive layer having the light transmissive property and thus forming a latent image.
CONSTITUTION: A photocondiductive layer 1 composed of a material having the light transmissive property and the continuous photoconductive property is put on a supporter 2 of a synthetic resin film containing a conductive layer 3 plated with metal, etc. Thus a latent image carrier 4 is obtained. An original picture 5 is made contact close to the carrier 4, and the light is irradiated 8. Thus an image exposure is carried out by beams 9 and 10 according to the presence or absence of the reflected light to form a latent image. The carrier 4 is put into an inet 18 of photoconductive material of a device, and at the same time the ordinary paper is put into an inlet 16 of transfer material. Thus both the copying and fixing are carried out at the location of a plate heater 34 after development 25. As a result, a ligh-weight and compact copier capable of performing the copying on the ordinary paper with a completely dry method can be obtained.
