To provide a copying machine that takes a copyright of a book into account and can aid collection of a copy compensation in the unit of a copy object.
The copying machine is configured such that a central processing unit 5 buffers image data of a copy object read by a main scanner 1 and acquires copy conditions corresponding to an identifier of the copy object that is read by a sub scanner 2 and recognized by an identifier processing section 4 from a database 20, the central processing unit 5 outputs the buffered image data to a print section 9 when the copy conditions indicate permission of copy according to the copy propriety of the copy conditions and performs charging processing under a charging condition in the acquired copy conditions.
