CONSTITUTION: The copying machine is a digital copying machine provided with an image read means 11 scanning an original to obtain picture element information, a storage means 17 storing the read picture element information and an image print means 14 providing an output of the picture element information read from the storage means as an image and also with an original reference position command means 15 commanding and entering original reference position information representing a position of a reference when the picture element information stored in the storage means 17 is read and with an image moving means 13 moving a read start position of the picture element information stored in the storage means based on the original reference position information.
