Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fluororesin cord and belt excellent in resistance against chemical permeability, mechanical characteristics and abrasion resistance, and useful as a carrying member such as a meander prevention liner for a carrying conveyor belt, or useful as a sealing member or the like coupled to the flange section of piping.
CONSTITUTION: A fluororesin cord 11 has a rod-shaped unbaked section 12 of PTFE resin and a sintered section 13 of PTFE resin laid on the external surface of the section 12. Or, a reinforcement layer is provided between both sections 12 and 13, or on one of the sides of the sintered section 13. Furthermore, a carrying conveyor belt is made, using the cord 11.
