To provide a call termination control method for a cordless telephone set, capable of avoiding unwanted ringing of a slave unit due to the arrival of a call, and to provide the cordless telephone set.

In the cordless telephone set, wherein a master unit 1 for receiving an incoming call from an external line and the slave units 3 are connected by wireless communication, each of the slave units 3 is provided with an RFID tag 40, the master unit 1 is provided with a read function 20 for reading RFID information, the master unit 1 uses the RFID read function to search for the slave units 3, and when the slave units 3 exists or does not exist within an RFID readable range, the master unit 1 instructs the slave units 3 to conduct call termination notice control.
