PURPOSE: To perform processing of excellent quality within a short time by always performing core folding work under a constant condition without using labor in the blind hole processing of a hard fragile material (e.g. ceramics) using a diamond core drill and simultaneously performing core folding of a plurality of holes at once.
CONSTITUTION: A core folding device equipped with a plurality of hollow shafts 1 inserted in cores, a means (the guide hole of a guide plate 3) allowing the shafts to retreat when core positions and shaft positions are shifted at the time of the insertion of the shafts, a means (work positioning pin 13) positioning a work setting position and a lever moving the hollow shafts 1 to insert them in the cores 9 to move the same from the position at the time of insertion is used in order to efficiently remove the cores 9 remaining in processed holes after blind hole processing is applied to a work 8 using a core drill to insert the hollow shafts 1 in the cores 9 of the work 8 set to a specified position and the shafts 1 are moved by a specified distance to apply external force to the cores 9 to simultaneously shear a plurality of the cores.
