Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a corrugated board base material which is light in weight and low in cost and excellent in rigidity or connecting strength.
CONSTITUTION: In making a corrugated board base material, two cores 3 which are molded into corrugated shapes and have liners 4 stuck to each one side face are used. The cores are integrally layered in a state that the proceeding directions of the corrugated 'shapes are made to cross each other almost rectangularly, with the liners 4 positioned in the outer sides. At least one of the two cores 3 has high and low corrugated shapes formed alternately. The cores 3 are integrated with each other by butting tops 5 of high corrugations 3a more firmly than tops 6 of low corrugations 3b.
