To provide a coupon issuance and management system for issuing a coupon (benefit) for promoting the re-coming of a customer to a store, and managing the coupon under a prescribed condition set beforehand, cooperating with an existing POS system.
The coupon issuance and management system is composed by adding a monitoring device 2B for monitoring transmitted and received data between POS terminals 3 and a store controller 2A, and a coupon management device 9 for instructing issuance of a bingo coupon 7 that gives a benefit according to the number of bingo materialized by meeting predetermined conditions, and managing the updating of the bingo coupon, based on the transmitted and received data monitored by the monitoring device 2B, to a POS system comprising a plurality of the POS terminals 3 having a scanner 4 for reading a barcode and a printer 5 for issuing a receipt or the like, and the store controller 2A for transmitting information on a product price to each POS terminal 3 and managing a sale and an inventory of a product at a store 1.
