PURPOSE: To enable a toothpick to be always carried about, by a construction wherein a toothpick part comprising a knob, a metallic toothpick integral with the knob, and a holder for accommodating the toothpick is provided on an outer side surface of a tubular main body of a cover case for containing a fuel tank of a cigarette lighter.

CONSTITUTION: A main body 1 of a cover case for a cigarette lighter provided thereon with an ornamental design comprises an open-top flat-shaped tubular body made of a synthetic resin. The shape and size of the main body 1 is so set that a fuel tank part of a commercialized throwaway cigarette lighter can be fitted therein. 0n an outer side surface of the main body 1, a toothpick part 2 is provided along the longitudinal direction. The toothpick part 2 comprises a knob 3, a metallic toothpick 4 integral with the knob 3, and a tubular holder 5 for accommodating the toothpick 4. After taking a meal, the user pinches the knob 3 to draw the toothpick 4 out of the holder 5, and uses the toothpick 4 to remove bits of food lodged between the teeth or between the tooth and the gums, in the same manner as in using a wooden toothpick.
