Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent accumulation of heat on a lower side of a lower cover by composing a cover body covering a rotational body of the lower cover and an upper cover respectively covering the lower side and the upper side of the rotational body, and forming a ventilating suction port on the lower cover, and a ventilating exhaust duct on the upper cover.
CONSTITUTION: A cover body 50 covers a rotational body A mounted on an upper end of a crank shaft 22, which cover body 50 includes a crank shaft pulley 31, a timing belt 33, a rotor 41 and a manually-driven starting pulley 42. The cover body is composed of a lower cover 51 and an upper cover 55 respectively covering a lower side and an upper side of the rotational body A, each being mounted on an engine block 23 or the like. A plurality of ventilating suction ports 51e are formed around a hole 51c at a bottom 51a of the lower cover 51. A ventilating exhaust duct 55 is provided on the upper cover 55, which duct 55d is opened upward oppositely to a lower side exhaust passage of the lower cover 51. Heat around the engine is smootly discharged.
