To provide a covered member for an outer plate of a vehicle capable of preventing a connection means for connecting a main covered member with a subcovered member from being exposed on an outer face, dispensing with the use of a connection part as the means, and reducing the number of part items and assembly man-hours.

An engaging part 50 composed of a longitudinal wall part 51 protruding upward at substantially same height as a height of a through-hole 42 from both right and left ends of a bottom part 52 protruding from an inner face at a lower end of the subcovered member 30 and a claw part 53 which is provided so as to move elastically in the vertical direction in the bottom part 52 and whose tip protrudes more downward than the bottom part 52 is engaged with an engaged part 40 composed of a longitudinal wall part 41 protruding upward from an inner face of a flange part 25 provided at a lower end of the main covered member 20 and a recessed part 43 formed on an inner face of the flange part 25 together with the through hole 42 passing through in the direction of protrusion of the flange part 25 in the flange part 25 to connect the main covered member 20 with the subcovered member 30 by engaging the claw part 53 with the recessed part 43 by inserting it into the through hole 42.
