Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cradle with a swinging device which can swing an infant and a baby only in the horizontal direction, for dandling the infant and baby. CONSTITUTION: A cradle comprises a basinet 12 comprising the circular front legs 36 and the square rear legs 38 on a lower face, a support base 10 comprising the circular front recessed parts 40 and the square rear recessed parts 42 on an upper face, and the circular drive cams 28 installed on the centers of the front legs 36 and the front recessed parts 40, the front legs 36 are accommodated in the front recessed parts 40, and the rear legs 38 are accommodated in the rear recessed parts 42. Whereby the movement in the transverse direction to the support base 10, of the rear legs 38 is limited, but the rear legs 38 are movable in the longitudinal direction, so that the movement of the front legs 36 becomes an elliptic trajectory, when the circular drive cams 28 are rotated with the circular trajectory horizontally relative to the vertical axis, and the whole movement of the basinet 12 is limited on a horizontal plane.
