Abstract:
To provide a crash stop which has a reduced displacement due to the impact of a stopper arm and, simultaneously, excellent absorption properties in a wide temperature range.
The crash stop is composed of a thermoplastic elastomer compound having a hardness, measured by an A-type durometer in accordance with JIS-K-6253, of ≤50 degrees and a temperature dependence of modulus between 0°C and 60°C of ≤ three times.
