A double wishbone type suspension 11 is placed between the body 2 and the crawler 3 of a crawler type vehicle. The oscillating end 13a of the suspension 11 is connected to the truck frame 31 of the crawler 3 via elastic members 23, 24. Therefore, the oscillating end 13a of the suspension 11 can be displaced in the cross direction of the vehicle independently of the crawler 3. Thus, the independently suspending type can be employed as the suspension of the crawler. As a result, stable driving on unlevel roads is made possible and remarkable straight driveability is available while high-speed driving in excess of 40 km/h is made possible.
