Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant restraint device having an expansion body capable of extending from above a passenger to at least the front of a head, in which a passenger can see the front in a deployment completion state.SOLUTION: An occupant restraint device has an expansion body 10 capable of expanding at least forward of the head of a passenger is characterized by having openings 16 and 17, through which the passenger can see forward in an expansion completion state. The expansion body 10 comprises: a first chamber 11 for expanding the center front of the head of the passenger downward from upward; second chambers 12 and 13 continuing to the first chamber 11; and a left panel 14 and a right panel 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
