Abstract:
To provide a cross head preventing generation of failure of strength, rigidity or the like.
A center o of a guide boss 1 engaged with a guide pin is offset with respect to either one side of a line a connecting centers of valve pressing parts 4, 5 formed at both ends of arms 2, 3 so as to have an asymmetric shape. This prevents a mistake in the assembling direction of the cross head. Therefore, even when a relief is provided in only one of the arms 2, 3 to avoid interference with peripheral components while strength and rigidity of the cross head are secured, failure caused by the mistake in the assembling direction is prevented.
