To provide crumble feed for poultry chicks improving growth of poultry chicks without spoiling development of the gizzard of each of the poultry chicks, and without increasing a water amount drunk by the chick.
The crumble feed for poultry chicks comprises ≥30 wt.% of coarse grains of cereal having a particle diameter of 1-3.35 mm to feed poultry chicks. The crumble feed does not spoil the development of the gizzard of the poultry chick while having a merit of good digestive absorption peculiar to the crumble feed because the pulverized crumble feed contains the coarse grains of the cereal. The crumble feed does not increase water drunk by the poultry chick because the coarse grains are moderately contained in the pulverized feed so as to prevent expansion of the surface area of the feed in the digestive tube.
