PURPOSE: To provide a CT-scanner apparatus for tire which enables the tire interior to be examined in a condition of bed pressurized.
CONSTITUTION: A tire 19 to be examined is applied with a downward pressure by a pressurizer, X-rays are irradiated from an X-ray radiation portion 21 to a tire 19 in the Z-axial direction, scattered X-rays that are scattered from a detected-object position inside the tire 19 into a plane (X-Y) are detected by a detection portion 22, and the intensity of the scattered X-rays is stored in correspondence with the detected-object position, thereby to obtain tomographed picture data. Accordingly, the difference between local componential substances inside the tire can be accurately detected and the existence and generation of defects can be easily discriminated. Further, the structural changes, and defect-existence and generation inside the tire in conformity with an actual state of use can be discriminated.
