PURPOSE: To line up all the parts in the same posture in such a way that the posture of conveyed cup-shaped parts is discriminated, the parts in fallen sidelong condition are expelled, subsequently they are discriminated whether they are faced in their front or rear, and a direction converter is actuated by discriminating signals.
CONSTITUTION: Though cup-shaped parts 2 taken out of a storage are fallen down through a guide plate 9 and sent toward a conveyor 18, because the parts 2a in fallen sidelong condition are larger in their diameter than their height, they are expelled by a discriminating plate 16a, and returned to the storage by another conveyor 17. The parts 2 sent through under the discriminating plate 16a via an expelling plate 16b are sent a front or rear discriminating part 19a by a cylinder 22, where after being discriminated whether they are faced in their front or rear, they are sent into a direction converter 27. The direction converter 27 is turned by 90 degrees in right or left direction by front or rear discriminating signals, and expels the parts 2 in the same posture to a conveying passage 29.
