To provide a current sensor having high reliability by improving a rapid response detected by a magnetic field generated by an electric current flowing in a current path of a three-phase current.
A current sensor 10 comprises a housing 20, a substrate 30, a magnetic detection element 40, and shields 50. A current path 60 is arranged between the magnetic detection element 40 and the shields 50 to detect an electric current flowing in the current path 60. The shields 50 arranged in each phase form same shapes that are almost L-shaped, are a pair of right and left to one magnetic detection element 40 and its corresponding current path 60, and are housed and arranged respectively on both sides in the housing 20 so as to surround a through hole 22 of the housing 20. Further, each of the shields 50 comprises support parts 51 placed on both sides of the magnetic detection element 40 and the current path 60, flat parts 52, and ends 53. The ends 53 face each other separately.
