To heighten the wind sealing performance without heightening ordinary contact force between wind barrier gaskets in a curtain wall.
A vertical groove 14b and a horizontal groove 71b where the base end parts of the wind barrier gaskets 22, 80 blocking the gaps 20, 61 between the vertical frame and the horizontal frame are mounted are provided outside a pair of vertical frames and a pair of horizontal frames 3a, 3b opposite to each other of two arbitrary adjacent curtain wall units CU. Tip parts 31, 88 which are tubular bodies having a flat section are formed at the base end parts 30, 86 of one pair of wind barrier baskets 22, 80. The sectional shape of the tip part of each wind barrier gasket in free state is formed by an inclined projecting parts 56 extended from the base end parts 30, 86 toward the outside of the curtain wall, a folded projecting part 57 with a large curvature, connected to the tip of the inclined projecting part 56, and a gentle curve part 58 connected to the folded projecting part 57 and extended toward the inside of the curtain wall to reach the base. The gentle curve part 58 is inclined to gradually approach the base parts 30, 86 as it goes toward the inside of the curtain wall.
