PURPOSE: To facilitate assembling and to reduce the number of parts, by providing a large number of nodal parts, each of which is constituted by mutually closely bonding and fixing the respective runs of the wire like body of a coil excepting connection parts in the axial direction thereof, at an almost equal interval and mounting wire guides for guiding a curving operating wire to the insides of the nodal parts to constitute a curved tube.
CONSTITUTION: The connection parts 3a, 3b connected to the leading end part and flexible tube part of an endoscope are provided to both ends of a coil 1 formed by spirally winding a wire like body 2 made of a metal having elasticity and one end of a curving operating wire 4 is fixed to the inside of the connection part 3a connected to the leading end part of the endoscope by soldering. A large number of nodal parts 5... are provided to the coil 1 excepting the connection parts 3, 3 in the axial direction thereof at an equal interval. Each of the nodal parts 5 is formed by mutually closely bonding and fixing the respective runs of the wire like body 2 by solder or an adhesive and the wire guides 6 for guiding the curving operating wire 4 are mounted to the inside of the nodal parts 5 at an almost 90°-interval in the peripheral direction. By this constitution, the coil 1 can be used as the curved tube of the endoscope by the drawing operation of the operating wire 4.
