PURPOSE: In a press for cutting or the shearing work, to perform the cutting of two different shapes through single dies by exchanging two pair of cutters provided between the upper and lower dies.

CONSTITUTION: When replacing the cutters 13a, 18a with the cutters 13b, 18b, the air-cylinder 15 is expanded to move the movable block 12 in the arrow direction F untill contacting against the stopper 10a. Then after locking said block 12 to the lower dies holder 10 through the operation of the locking mechanism, the upper dies 4 is lowered to press the material P between the upper and lower dies 4, 10 with the pad 20a and to cut the plate member P through the cooperation of the cutters 13b, 18b then the product is carried out through the conveyor 24.
