Abstract:
To extend the life of a cutting blade and work a workpiece to be of high quality.SOLUTION: A cutting blade is provided in which a plurality of abrasive grains are fixed with a binder, the binder includes: a metal sintered body including a plurality of metal particles bonded to each other via a bonding portion; and a resin fired body arranged between the plurality of metal particles of the metal sintered body, wherein a part of the plurality of abrasive grains are fixed to the metal sintered body, and another part of the plurality of abrasive grains are fixed to the resin fired body. A cutting blade manufacturing method is also provided that comprise: a mixing step of mixing the plurality of metal particles, a resin member, and a plurality of abrasive grains to form a mixed material; a molding step of molding the mixed material into an annular shape; and a sintering step of heating and sintering the mixed material. In the sintering step, the mixed material is heated to form a bonding portion between the plurality of metal particles to form a metal sintered body, and the resin member arranged between the plurality of metal particles is fired to form the resin fired body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
