PURPOSE: To carry out the cutting without occurrence of torsion by connecting a servomotor that detects the speed of a driving motor for a rotating table and synchronously rotates therewith, to an elevating table connecting a support shaft that supports the upper end part of a continuous chinaware raw material.

CONSTITUTION: On a rotating table 2 situated at the lower part of a cutting frame 1, a continuous chinaware raw material 20 is fixed in mounted relation, and the upper end part thereof is supported fixedly by means of a support device 8 by lowering the elevating table 5, and then cutting work is carried out while rotating the upper and lower parts at the same speed by means of a driving motor 4 and a servomotor 9. And, as the servomotor 9 that detects the speed of the driving motor 4 and synchronously rotates therewith is coupled to the elevating table 5 connected to a support shaft 7, the upper and lower ends of the continuous chinaware raw material 20 is always rotated at the same phase and the same speed at the time of starting and even at the time of cutting. Whereby the continuous chinaware raw material 20 can be cut without causing any torsion.
