Abstract:

To provide a cutting device for sheet bundles capable of stably and highly accurately cutting all kinds of sheet bundles without damaging them and upsizing the device.

The cutting device 1 for sheet bundles is provided with moving means 4(13;18), 6A, which move a sheet bundle S to a prescribed cutting position along guide members 9, 19 forming a transfer path for the sheet bundle S, a cutting means 6B for cutting the end edge of the sheet bundle S at the cutting position, and contact preventing means 34, 40 for preventing the sheet bundle S from being in contact with the guide member 19 by separating the sheet bundle S from the guide member 19.
