Title:
CUTTING METHOD OF LIQUID JET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3476884
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily provide a disk (electron component) having a fibrillated end face by injecting a high-pressure liquid from a nozzle with a rod in a rotating condition when cutting a pultruded carbon fiber rod to a specified width to obtain a thin disk.
CONSTITUTION: In a cutting device to cut a disk 10 to, for example, 30 mil thickness out of a pultruded carbon fiber rod 26 in which a plurality of electrically conductive fibers are embedded in a base material, a lead screw 42 to be turned by the action of a step motor 34 is screwed, and a sled 50 slides in cooperation with a liner 54 provided on both sides of a base 30. Two support plates 70, 74 to support one end side of the drawn rod 26 are erected on the sled 50, and the other end side of the rod 26 is supported by two support plates 90, 96 erected on the base 30. The rod 26 is fixed in a through bore of a pulley 66 to be turned by a motor 60, and cut with high-pressure liquid to be ejected from the nozzle.
