Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool that is able to reduce costs by combining with a steel material lower in price than high-speed steel and is able to solve a problem caused by a combination with the low-cost steel material.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 1 according to the present invention comprises: a fixed blade 12 and a movable blade 16 that are able to intersect and slide mutually and cut a work-piece W interposed between them; a fixed-blade attaching part 14 to which the fixed blade 12 is fixed so as to be attachable to or detachable from it; a movable-blade attaching part 18 to which the movable blade 16 is fixed so as to be attachable to or detachable from it and which is opened or closed with respect to the fixed-blade attaching part 14; and a drive gear 22 that rotates the movable-blade attaching part 18. The fixed-blade attaching part 14 has, in a face opposite to the movable-blade attaching part 18, a first recess 36 in a position near the fixed blade 12 and in a front position in a direction in which the movable blade 16 advances during cutting operation. The movable-blade attaching part 18 has in a face opposite to the fixed-blade mounting part 14, a second recess 38 in a position near the movable blade 16 and in a front position in a direction in which the fixed blade 12 advances during the cutting operation. An outer peripheral edge 18a has a sector gear 20 that is engaged with a drive gear 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
