PURPOSE: To obtain a new cyclopropachromene useful as an improving agent and a treating agent for symptoms based on organizing and functional disorder in the brain, a psychotropic agent, etc.

CONSTITUTION: A compound shown by formula I (n is 2-5 integer; R1 and R2 are H, 1-5C alkyl, phenyl, etc., or R' and R" together with N form morpholino, thiomorpholino, pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, pyrrolizidinyl, etc.; A1, R2, B1 and B2 are H, halogen, OH, alkoxy, etc.) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof such as 1a,7a-dihydro-4,5-dimethoxy-7(1H)-(2-methylaminoethyloxyimino)-1 a-phenylcyclopropa[b]chromene. The compound is obtained by reacting a compound shown by formula II hydroxyamine hydrochloride in pyridine to give a compound shown by formula III and condensing this compound with an amino halide shown by formula IV (X is halogen).
