Title:
CYLINDRICAL-PERMANENT-MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08298735
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the position of the magnetic-pole center unchanged even when a part of permanent magnets is lost in a synchronous motor with the permanent magnets which have been divided into a plurality in the axial direction and to which a skew has been executed.

CONSTITUTION: The skew direction of adjacent cylindrical permanent magnets 2a, 2b is reversed, one-groove pitch skews are executed to the respective cylindrical permanent magnets 2a, 2b, and the magnetic-pole center 5 of the respective cylindrical permanent magnets 2a, 2b is made to agree. As a result, even when the cylindrical permanent magnet 2b is lost, the magnetic-pole center of the sound cylindrical permanent magnet 2a is indeitcal to the magnetic-pole center 5 before the permanent magnet is lost, and a thrust force in the axial direction is not generated. In addition, since the one-groove skews have been executed, a cogging torque can be reduced.
