Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sufficiently draw off the bubbles in a coating soln. by the thin film degassing method and to prevent the coating soln. from being supersaturated with dissolved gas even when the soln. is subjected to an ultrasonic defoamer.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical net 4 is laid in a liq. receiving tank 16 for passing a coating soln. from the upper part of the tank through the liq. surface 14 and apart from the tank wall, and the soln. is supplied to the tank along the net 4. The tank is kept at -10 to -50mmHg, and the soln. is degassed by this cylindrical thin film degassing method.
