To provide a damper mount capable of reducing the initial spring constant irrespective of the hardness of rubber, regulating the displacement under a high load, and preventing occurrence of defective adhesion of a rubber portion to a metal portion or spring troubles.
The damper mount is mounted on a rod 2 of a damper unit, or mounted on a vehicle body 4 to absorb the inclination of or impacts on the damper unit when a vehicle is traveling. When a mount rubber 7 interposed between an inner periphery of a bracket 5 and an outer circumference of an inner pipe 6 is mounted on the rod 2 by setting plates 8 and 9 to upper and lower ends of the inner pipe 6 in the axial direction, a clearance 10 is formed between the mount rubber 7 and the lower end side plate 9 to reduce the initial spring constant of the mount rubber 7, and a cover 11 to cover the clearance 10 is provided to prevent ingress of foreign matters such as water, pebbles and dust.
