To provide a damper stand installation device of an elevator capable of easily installing a damper stand at a predetermined position in the horizontal direction on the bottom surface of a hoistway by simple work.

With reference to a plumb line 5 suspended at a predetermined position corresponding to a landing 4 from the upper part of the hoistway 1, a positioning tool 6 is temporarily disposed on the bottom wall surface 3 of the hoistway 1, and the damper stand is arranged at a position corresponding to the plumb line 5 position. The positioning tool 6 and the damper stand 9 are interconnected through a connecting fitting 18 disposed at a predetermined position with respect to the plumb line 5, and the damper stand 9 is arranged at the predetermined position in the horizontal direction on the bottom surface 2 of the hoistway 1. Thus, a dedicated plumb line for centering the damper stand 9 is not required to be suspended, work and material for work for the plumb line dedicated to the damper stand can be omitted, working time is reduced, required material is reduced, and installation cost is reduced.
