To provide a damping control device for a stabilizer bar, which assures a good ride feeling in travelling on a flat ground.
The captioned device comprises an electronically controlled shock absorber 6 which holds both ends of a stabilizer bar 8, is so mounted as to be fixed to a low arm 7 thereunder, and lets a force of an amplitude corresponding to the supplied voltage act between the low arm and the stabilizer bar, a potentiometer 3 which is installed in an electronically controlled shock absorber, and detects and outputs a displacement proportional to a force applied to the shock absorber, a car speed sensor and a steering angle sensor. It comprises further an electronic control unit 4 which computes a lateral acceleration using the inputted car speed and the steering angle, and computes a driving voltage using the lateral acceleration and the displacement of the shock absorber to output it and a voltage amplifier 5 which applies an amplified driving voltage to the electronically controlled shock absorber after amplification of the driving voltage outputted from the electronic control unit.
