Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a brake shoe from jumping out, by providing between a brake shoe side wall surface and a stopper opposite to this side wall surface a stopping section to prevent spring-up motion of the brake shoe. CONSTITUTION:A stopping section to prevent spring-up motion of a brake shoe 1, such as a U-shape groove 5, is provided on the surface of the brake shoe 1, which is parallel with rotating direction of a rotary electric motor, that is, rotating direction of a brake ring 4, and a part of a stopper 6 is fit in this groove 5. As the brake shoe 1 and the brake shoe support 2 are stopped by the stopping section 5 in this mechanism, it is possible to prevent spring-up and jump-out motions of the brake shoe 1 even at the time when the brake shoe 1 has softened and stuck to the brake ring 4.
