Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a dark ride playing apparatus for enabling one to enjoy a fearful experience rich in the feeling of presence at a real place due to stereo effect.
CONSTITUTION: In a playing apparatus having a vehicle 3 travelling on a travelling path laid on a dark play ground with a player carried thereon, a dark side playing apparatus is provided with various dioramas 4 having movable dolls 6 sequentially constituted along the travelling path, a stereo system 11 carried on the vehicle 3 for regenerating the movement of a sound source position, a travelling position detecting means 8 for detecting the travelling position of the vehicle 3 and a control means 20 for controllably driving the diorama 4 and stereo system 11 synchronously corresponding to the travelling position detected by the travelling position detecting means 8.
